comfortable room, enjoyable base for shopping. it's just a pleasant stroll away from mtr causeway bay tube station. price of the breakfast is hkd 198 per person.
Well-equipped room, MARVELLOUS location. We liked the balcony, it was good.
The staff is wonderful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. It is truly a hospitable hotel. Pretty world class for its size. The rooms are generally expansive and the beds are very comfortable. I also like the white on white with the bed linen. Nothing of that dirty rubbish decoration that are thrown on hotel beds these days which you know do not get washed after each guest.
the location is very good, but hotel room is quite old, the staff at lobby are not so friendly.
The CD player in the room is very nice, I happened to buy a disk before I got there, I loved the music and the night view outside the window is goreiouse!
Brekafast is not quite good and it is not worth the price they charge!
Always a comfortable relaxing experience to stay in this hotel with a myraid of good reastaurants and top class shopping within 5 minutes walk. Ideal stay for anyone visiting Hong Kong.
Near the Victoria Park for jogging
It is very conveniently located with all the activities within walking distance, shopping, restaurant, MTR station etc. The renovated room is very pleasant and clean
The pillows, they messed your hair up the next morning
Location, amenities inside the room are fine.
Shower and bath tub needs improvement. When i stayed there the water closet clogged up maybe because of old piping/ drainage.
Location was perfect for shopping, room size and comfort were a plus and breakfast was satisfying. The Duty Managers Doris and Jerry were very helpful. Thank you for the fruit basket you sent to our room!
The front desk staff needs more training on people skills and know how to service and satisty their in house guests.
Location was excellent, right opposite Victoria Park, near mtr stations and walking distance from causeway bay shopping and Times Square. Staff all very good and friendly, breakfast very good, Cafe also very good for drinks and food.
There were a few niggles on my stay. The gym is not free, although their website and guest services folder does not say this. The wireless internet was unreliable. Wired access was ok.
I have stayed there many time and always enjoy the experience.the george is a great asset and location is good being next to victoria park. I find it rather expensive now which is possibly due to the exchange rate and the number of mainland chinese noe visiting hong kong
Not a lot except the younger staff botn on check in and in the executive lounge show little characture compared to their older counterparts
All the staff were very professional and nothing was too much trouble.
I don't like the fact that if booking by credit card the hotel actually take the price of the booking even before you arrive. This is not good practise especially when you receive an e-mail from Booked.net to say they have received an e-mail from the hotel stating insufficient funds in the account. Then to find out after numerous calls to you and my bank that it was the fault of the hotel who had entered the wrong expiry date on the card.
location, close to everything, shopping, restaurant, mtr.
unfriendly staff, small crowded lobby.
The Park Lane was referred to me through a friend in Hong Kong among other hotel choices, because I needed a comfort and MRT-accessible hotel for a conference in nearby Pacific Place buildings. The location is very convenient for me to go to any place in Hong Kong island. I speak English and Mandarin. The only thing that I would like to complain is that one time I spoke Mandarin and tried to ask a location that I needed to go to, conciage persons paid no attention to me. Next time, I spoke English, and I obtained services and answer quickly. That is the reason why I rated service low. Only one person should be blamed to lukewarm services for Chinese visitors than to English-speaking visitors. kc
